The way to be saved is to simply rely (believe) upon Christ's sacrifice for your sins on the cross as the Lamb of God, and His subsequent resurrection from the dead as our heavenly High Priest (intercessor). 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” Believe and the work is done! Notice that there's nothing mentioned in these Bible verses about cleaning up your life of sin, turning over a new leaf, amending your ways, committing your life to God, surrendering to Jesus as Lord or anything else. These are all matters of following Christ, which is discipleship, and not sonship.

This is a description of how big the New Jerusalem can be. What most of us have not thought of is the height of the city being in layers, some layers 20 foot high, some layers 2000 feet high, giving it a totally new realization of it's trillions of acreage. We would not need a city sky of 1500 miles high, so the holy city will have floors, or layers at varying heights, which is something unrealized till now.
